Summary First Appearance: N/A Worst stalker ever. Right behind Raki, there's this oversized yoma, and it throws him across the room, and then approaches him just in time for Clare to arrive. She impales its arm with a dagger and, when reassured by Raki that he's feeling all right, she orders him to leave while she takes care of him. Raki, however, insists that she's still hurt. The yoma makes a valiant attempt at worsening this injury, but misses and smashes the wall behind them instead. It makes a run for Raki, but ends up being momentarily held off by Galk and Sid, neither of which seem to do much good against it until Galk manages to cut off several of its fingers. Sid lodges three daggers in the yoma's head, but it pretty much doesn't notice. Even so, Sid chastises Clare about thinking she can protect everyone by herself, as Rabona is their town, and they are prepared to die for it. The three warriors attack the yoma, which achieves little aside from inspiring it to make mocking noises at Clare's inability to battle it properly using a short blade. The yoma then decides to have a little swordfight with her using Galk's blade, which ends up reopening Clare's wounds. The yoma mocks the idea of holy men - in the end, they're only human. Hard-headed yoma. Raki makes his reappearance then, insisting he has to get the goddess statue to Clare. Galk, ever the helpful man, hurls it at her just as the yoma uses Galk's sword to slice the blade off of Clare's weapon. Strangely, she seems calmer holding the statue than her short blade, and calmly permits the ranting yoma to strike the statue... only to find its sword cannot pass through the stone. Instead, the stone begins to crumble around the yoma's stolen sword, eventually falling to pieces and revealing the massive claymore hidden inside. Now, Clare says, the monster hunt begins for real. Notes and Comments Talk about your thick-skins. 01. The Rabona yoma is unique in a number of ways. Aside from having a unique lack of care for being stabbed in the head (perhaps because his body is already dead?), it is probably the most powerful standard yoma shown in the series, as well as the only one given to using weapons aside from its own body.
