Databook Information

Below, I've listed the statistics for all of the Claymores as provided in the official databooks. These "books" were actually extra material in the back of Omnibus Editions of the series (now long out of print). Most of the information is not translated, but if I know of a translation, it's included. There MAY be more later, if. I can find larger scans or buy the books themselves AND either I or my mother can read them clearly, ho ho ho. We suck.

Anyway. The pages themselves are included as links so people can see I'm not making this stuff up!

Things to keep in mind:

☩ The stats run from E (lowest) to A (highest) for the most part. S indicates ability "on another level." A + is not an intermediate value - B+ is not better than B but not as good as A. Instead, it indicates a value that spikes upwards depending on circumstances. So someone with a B+ is capable of using their stat at B whenever they like, but sometimes it could be A or even S. A good example of this is Clare's yoki-sensing statistic, which is C+, which (judging from the way the story itself plays out) seems to indicate an average level of ability most of the time that spikes up to near-Galatea levels when she concentrates.

☩This is just an observation of mine and not something written in the book, but it also seems as though +s are also placed on stats that are strange or expected to grow - for example, the half-awakened soldiers have +s on their Yoki stat, and Priscilla has +s on every power-related stat.

☩The statistics for most of the main cast is pre-timeskip. So don't expect to see stats that would indicate Miria's ability to, say, do what she does in Chapter 106. :D

☩Awakened being stats are measured differently than Claymore stats - they have an Intelligence stat, for example, whereas Claymores don't. Also, their level of ability in any given thing rarely dips below S, indicating their superior power.

☩ Yoki stat indicates amount of yoki. Agility is used as a catch-all for speed, agility, etc. Strength is raw muscle power. Willpower is sort of eehh, it's been translated as Mental or Will... it's not intelligence, though. Yoki-Sensing is the ability to read yoki. Leadership is... you know, leadership ability, hehe.

☩Animesuki Power Level/Stats board - there's a wealth of info hidden in the comments here. However, note that the thread is 140+pages long and full of month long arguments about Teresa vs. [Whoever].
